About the presenters:
Vincent Truter is a cross-disciplinary Creative Director, Placemaker and Experience Designer whose work is grounded in healing, nature connection, and the creation of restorative environments. He designs spaces and experiences that reconnect people with themselves, with each other, and with the living systems that sustain us. He currently heads up Green Placemaking at Mission for the Inner City Cape Town – dedicated to promoting and enhancing the street level experience for everyone that uses the inner city of Cape Town.
Alex Jongens has been working in the NGO sector, public-private partnerships and social entrepreneurial realm for 15 years with a focus on urban development and placemaking. Alex has been involved in a range of localised placemaking initiatives in Cape Town ranging from a youth development programme in Nyanga; activating public laneways in the Central City; developing the concept plan for Philippi Village to the better.bellville.together campaign in the Bellville CBD.

Jean is working to protect our amazing and diverse coastal habitats from destruction through poaching, pollution and illegal fishing. Jean uses stunning and unique imagery to inspire more people to both visit and conserve these beautiful wild places.
