Our membership fee is R130.00 per annum – a small price to pay towards the responsible representation of your community in civic matters.
Yes, you can make a difference and we appeal to you for active participation so that strides forward can be made for the benefit of all residents.
Anyone who lives in these areas may apply for membership: Simon’s Town (including all its suburbs), Cairnside, Glencairn, Glencairn Heights, Welcome Glen, Murdoch Valley and Redhill/Dido Valley. Please spread the word.
We focus on three main objectives for the year and your inputs are essential – you may be able to point out issues that require attention of which we are unaware. Our most recent public meeting “Where do you see Simon’s Town in 2030” was an eye-opener as to what you, the residents want! This healthy participation gives us welcome direction. If you don’t take the opportunity to say what you feel, how will anyone know what that is?
Of course, we are open to hearing positive feedback as well. Let’s not wait until it is too late for us to make a difference!
We rely on email for correspondence and would be grateful for the opportunity to broaden our circle and communicate on a larger scale. Please refer anyone who may wish to subscribe to our communications. We would also love to know of any community-based meetings or events in your area so that we can be present and involved. We simply can’t function effectively without YOU!
