  3. Packing of handbags and delivery to Rape Crisis last week of August – delivery on 30th/31st August depending on how much comes in.
  4. 19th September – Friends of the STM lecture @ 5.30 for 6pm: Mike Bruton – Finding Old Fourlegs – Story of the Coelacanth
  5. Movies being screened on the mornings (@11am) and afternoons (@2pm) of 19th to 21st September – in collaboration with Exploring Consciousness.
  6. Building of the Sand Mandala by Tibetan lamas, as well as talks by Tibetan healers at the Museum, from 25th to 29th September 2018.
  7. Heritage Day on 24th September 2018.
  8. 31st October – Friends of the STM lecture @ 5.30 for 6pm: Willem Steenkamp – The Fallen Heroes of WWI
  9. 28th November – Friends of the STM lecture @ 5.30 for 6pm: To be announced
  10. Knit-a-Jersey for HIV/Aids Orphans – project to start from September (or now if people are happy to start knitting) and delivery to charity on 3rd / 4th December.

Simonstown Museum is also appealing for new volunteers for the Museum and for new members for the Friends of Simon’s Town Museum.
